Hall Effect / TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) joysticks work completely differently. They use magnets to detect movement - no physical contact, no friction, nothing to wear out. The sensor reads the magnetic field instead of touching anything. That means: significantly reduced drift. Hall Effect sensors have no mechanical wear - the leading cause of drift - so performance stays consistent much longer than traditional joysticks.
